Creative Writing Stage 1 helps learners to bring their own meaning to the texts they compose and express their own ideas and feelings through written language. It guides learners in new ways of organising text and provides practice in drafting, revising, editing and publishing a piece of written work. |

Creative Writing Stage 2 increases learners' knowledge through discussion and reading in multiple genres, in order to help organise and communicate their knowledge through a variety of presentational formats. The programme covers a wide variety of genres within fiction and non-fiction writing to provide learners with an opportunity to broaden and polish their communication skills.

Creative Writing Stage 3 assumes an existing competence and independence in students' fiction writing, and pushes the boundaries of writing forward through more challenging texts. The structure of English language through figures of speech and idiom is closely examined, in order to enhance the quality and richness of the written works.
