This course helps advance writing, speaking and reading skills through an introduction to books with high frequency words and supportive illustrations. Students improve upon grammatical knowledge through stories with predictable structures and patterned language.

This course develops the skills learnt in previous stages and sets children well on the way to reading independently. Through repetitive word structures and interesting plots, children develop reading strategies and confidence. Task sheets and writing exercises complement the storybooks.
