Reading for Meaning™ Camp Stage 1 (3 - 4 years)

Children journey to Toppee Town to have adventures and make friends with Club T through role play! Structured activities provide a learning environment in which vocabulary is expanded, sentence structures are absorbed quickly, and confidence in using English grows. A focus on storytelling introduces children to the delights of books and promotes an interest in reading. Children complete workbooks and receive their own storybooks to take home.

Fabulous Phonics Stage 2 (4 - 6 years)

Children continue to build on their phonics knowledge and gain confidence in their phonetic abilities. They practise identifying letter sounds within words with a view to promoting reading and spelling skills. New vocabulary is introduced and letter formation skills are practised. In Stage 2 children are encouraged to establish the connections between their phonics skills and reading, writing, and spelling words.
